Nisyros, Greece - Volcano

The volcano of Nisyros is the most important attraction. It has a total of five craters with the largest "Stephen", diameter of 260 meters and a depth of 30 meters. The five volcanic craters form the plateau of the pit, which was created by a volcanic eruption in 1552. The final crater, the "Little Polyvotis", created in 1887, when the last (til now) Hydrothermal eruption.
