Kalamata by Night, Messenia’s Jewel as it Lays From up Above (Images)

November 17, 2020

Kalamata is the most beautiful city of the Peloponnese and may be one of the most beautiful cities in Greece.

Kalamata and Messenia are generally considered the rising forces of Greek tourism.

As someone could say without exaggeration, Kalamata is a big "exotic" city with some unique features. One of them is the not so ordinary blue flag award for its seafront bay.

The new state of art highway brings Kalamata at a distance of just 2.5 hours from Athens.

What you will encounter first arriving in Kalamata, just a few kilometers before entering the city, is the impressive bridge of Tsakonas.

An engineering marvel that is also the trademark of the new highway. In the city of Kalamata, except for the beautiful beaches, you will be able to enjoy you will also spend some moments worth remembering, both in the local taverns and in the night bars and clubs that are pulsing.

Messenia is waiting for you to be amazed by its beauties and sights.
