All You Can Eat in Thessaloniki for Just €15: Meet the Tavern That Feeds You Until You’re Full

May 1, 2025

Grilled sea bream, shrimp saganaki, fried cod, succulent meats, a wide selection of appetizers, and crisp, freshly made salads—these are just a few of the delights awaiting diners at Agkalitsa, one of Thessaloniki’s most generous and budget-friendly tavernas.

With two locations—one in the lively district of Ladadika and another in the suburb of Pylaia—Agkalitsa offers over 80 different dishes, promising to satisfy even the most discerning palate. And all of this comes at a fixed, wallet-friendly price.

At the Ladadika branch, diners can indulge in unlimited food and house wine, tsipouro, or beer for just €15 per person. Over in Pylaia, the offering is the same, but the price drops slightly to €14.

“People are fair with us,” says Manolis Galante, manager of the Ladadika location, in an interview with Thestival.gr. “They order a lot of food, but they know their limits. They don’t go overboard.”

Weekends at Agkalitsa are especially busy, with around 150 to 200 guests a day, while weekdays still draw a respectable 80 to 100 visitors daily. Regardless of the day, one thing is constant: warm hospitality and food that hugs your stomach like an old friend.

The unlimited menu is available to groups of at least two people. For solo diners or those who prefer it, there's the option to order à la carte, paying exactly what’s listed on the menu.

“We love that our guests can enjoy their meal without worrying about the bill. The secret is in the fixed price,” explains Galante.

And while food prices across Greece continue to rise, Agkalitsa has no immediate plans to adjust its pricing.

The Pylaia location has been serving locals and visitors since 2011, while the Ladadika branch opened its doors in 2018.
