Majestic drone flight over Christmas Athens

This year, due to lockdown restrictions, celebrating Christmas is probably more melancholic than previous years. But we should fill our hearts with optimism and gratitude, since we are leaving behind one of the toughest years ever very soon.

The “UpStories” team helped in their own way, by making a festive flight over the decorated city of Athens.

First stop: The Tower of Piraeus. The second tallest building in Greece wore its “festive clothes” for the first time in history and the result is truly spectacular.

On the way to Athens, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation steals the show. Its view from both Poseidonos Avenue and Syngrou Avenue attracts passers’ attention and the decoration in every corner of the park is magnificent.

After that, the decorated city of Athens will impress you even more. Syntagma, Omonia, Kotzia square and the new Omonia square with its impressive fountain will literally enchant you. Finally, this year the City Hall of Peristeri remains the most beautifully decorated public building in Greece.
