A walk through the village will enchant you with the stone tower-houses, the narrow streets, the arches and the mulberry square, where there are cafes everywhere where you can enjoy your coffee and hear stories from the locals. Of course the churches form a unique backdrop, especially those of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St. Demetrius.

Wherever you stand, you have the feeling of having been transported back in time by a time machine. The beautiful settlement of Mastichochoria, where the famous mastic tree is cultivated, will win your admiration from the first moment of your visit.
