The Impressive Statue of Poseidon You Can Only See Underwater (VIDEO & images)

November 19, 2020

The impressive underwater God Poseidon (Neptune) statue

An impressive, huge statue of the god Poseidon has been adorning the seabed since 2012.

You would have probably guessed that it is placed near a Greek island, which would have a historical and mythological connection to the God, but this is far from true.

It actually belongs to the Caribbean island of San Andres, 800 km northwest of Colombia.

This beautiful piece of art is made from completely environmental-friendly materials by artist Mario Hoyos and since its placement in the deeps, it attracts divers and fishermen from all over the world who do not miss the opportunity to admire it and be photographed next to it.

There are many local guides in the island who are able to take tourists to that place for diving in order to visit the mighty, ancient God of the seas.
